| Band Bios Brad Townsend (Keyboards, Guitar, Vocals), Saint Mary’s, Ohio
Originally from the Los Angeles area, Brad has played music since the 5th grade. He started playing keyboards in the late 60’s when his first band came in 4th against 165 bands in 1968 at the KGBS battle of the bands at Southern California’s Long Beach Arena. He since has played keyboards, guitar, harmonica and Trumpet in a number of bands since then including a 2 year stint playing keyboards behind Karl Russell, former lead singer of the Hues Corporation. Brad, along with our sound man Robin are the band members who live in West Central Ohio. They don’t mind driving to help rock Fort Wayne, or vice versa. Bill is a product of the Steel City where he began his diverse music career many years ago. Since that time he has performed in various rock-n-roll bands in three different states. Now residing in Ft. Wayne, Indiana, Bill has been a valued member of The Borrowed Time Band since 2000. An awesomely talented singer and solid musician, Bill brings energy and passion to each and every stage show. His wide ranging vocal talent is powerful, diverse, and engaging, leaving audiences amazed, delighted and begging for more. Journey! Journey! Journey! 
Jeff has been playing for over 20 years in a variety of groups of varying musical styles. One of these groups won 2nd place in an Indiana State Original Music competition and was featured on Rock 104’s unplugged with Doc West. He has played all over the mid-west in some of the foremost venues. You won’t be bored by just a couple tones coming from his guitar! You may just hear some crazy sounds thrown at you like a banjo, a sitar or a resonator! All this together with his powerful vocals helps give Borrowed Time an entertaining edge over other bands! Doug is the glue that holds Borrowed Time together (actually he’s the only one who knows the songs). Kind of quiet and shy, but make no mistake about it, he carries some big sticks! And, he knows how to use them!
Dan Rohloff (Bass Guitar), Fort Wayne, IN
Dan is a Fort Wayne native who has played in various jazz combos and rock bands in Northern Indiana for many years. His humble dedication and eclectic musical background is unmistakable in his playing style. Dan commits to the band with each song by holding down the pocket and laying down danceable grooves and melodic lines for the audience. Each show you can hear him highlighting his talent, by enticing people to the dance floor to groove! | |
